Ayo Edebiri

While you might know Ayo from The Bear, she has written on a number of popular shows including What We Do in the Shadows, Dickinson, and Big Mouth. 

She received an Emmy Award for her role as Sydney Adamu on The Bear. The year she won was the first time two Black actresses won the two female comedy acting. 

 She made her directorial debut with a season three episode of The Bear.
